David Allred is the Vice President and Head of Retirement Plan Consulting, where he leads the team responsible for helping business owners and their employees build stronger, more effective retirement plan strategies. With more than 21 years in the financial services industry, David specializes in designing retirement plan solutions that support long‑term business goals, improve employee outcomes, and simplify plan oversight.
David’s expertise spans:

He began his career in private wealth management at Morgan Stanley, where he built a strong foundation in investment strategy and client service. Over the years, he expanded his leadership experience in key roles at Charles Schwab and E*Trade, managing branch teams, guiding client relationships, and earning multiple awards for top performance.
At Fisher, David has held several leadership roles within the 401(k) business, ultimately becoming the leader of the Retirement Plan Consulting group, serving employers across the U.S. and helping small and midsize businesses measure and improve plan quality.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, David is passionate about developing people and giving back. His background includes years of volunteer coaching and youth mentorship, as well as leadership in community‑focused initiatives.

During your transition to Fisher\SMB your Retirement Plan Consultant will:
- Help lead and coordinate all service provider transitions at the plan level.
- Guide you in defining plan goals, operational rules, and administrative processes.
- Support the development and implementation of your Investment Policy Statement.
- Help you introduce and communicate the plan to employees.
- Deliver financial wellness sessions and facilitate employer-focused retirement strategy discussions.
