Meet the Leader of Our Retirement Team
Alex Queen, Retirement Group Vice President, has just about done it all in his 25+ years in the financial services world. Before joining Fisher\SMB™, he worked at a full-service brokerage, a mutual fund company, and a Registered Investment Adviser. So, when Fisher\SMB put together its team of retirement plan specialists to serve business owners and their employees, Alex was the obvious call.
Today, he leads a team of 100+ retirement specialists serving 1,800+ SMBs. As a leader, he believes that investing in people pays off—not only for them, but for everyone, including clients and their employees. This virtuous cycle fuels everything Alex does and keeps him and his team working to be their best every day.
Alex holds the Professional Plan Consultant (PPC)® and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA)® designations. He is also a member of the Retirement Advisor Council, a professional association of experienced advisors who share expertise, set professional standards, and promote best practices to improve outcomes for retirement plan sponsors and participants.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with his wife Jessica, daughter Lucinda, and son Owen.
