and manage for business owners. An expert in building client relationships
and serving plan participants, Mat wants to make the Fisher\SMBTM
experience optimal for everyone by ensuring a transparent and smooth
journey toward a dignified retirement.
His ultimate goal is to bring a level of white glove customer service to all
business owners by helping them create and provide a great retirement
benefit for themselves, their employees, and their families. As a Retirement Counselor at Fisher\SMB, Mat is part of our unique service-first model.

Your dedicated Retirement Counselor serves as your point of contact for an extensive service offering designed to get plan participants on track for retirement.
They will advocate on your behalf, coordinate with your other service providers and be available to you.
During the plan onboarding process your Retirement Counselor will:
- Lead service provider transitions.
- Help you establish your plan goals, rules and features.
- Help establish an Investment Policy Statement.
- Provide a customizable employee introduction to the plan.
- Hold one-on-one enrollment and retirement guidance meetings with all employees.
