Meet Jason. He is a clear, candid communicator, committed to making
retirement plans easy to implement and manage for business owners. He
started his career in financial services in 1996 and has served in many
different roles, including relationship management, investment and plan
design consulting, compliance, and employee communications and
education.
Jason has extensive experience in defined contribution, defined benefit, and non-qualified deferred compensation plans. Additionally, he has spent years providing financial education on a range of topics, including retirement planning, income planning, and general financial wellness. He believes participants and clients make their best decisions when they work with an advisor who breaks down complex financial rules and topics into actionable information. As a Retirement Counselor at Fisher\SMBTM, Jason is part of our unique service-first model.

Your dedicated Retirement Counselor serves as your point of contact for an extensive service offering designed to get plan participants on track for retirement.
They will advocate on your behalf, coordinate with your other service providers and be available to you.
During the plan onboarding process your Retirement Counselor will:
- Lead service provider transitions.
- Help you establish your plan goals, rules and features.
- Help establish an Investment Policy Statement.
- Provide a customizable employee introduction to the plan.
- Hold one-on-one enrollment and retirement guidance meetings with all employees.
